Enterprise Course: Build It, Launch It, Learn From It


This course is for young people aged 13–19 who want to explore what it’s like to create something of their own — whether that’s a small business idea, a product, a service, a community project, or a creative enterprise.


Instead of just learning about business from a worksheet, learners will get the chance to think like entrepreneurs, come up with their own ideas, plan how they could make them happen, and even put parts of their enterprise into action.


They’ll explore what makes a good idea, how to spot opportunities, how to work out costs and pricing, how to promote their idea, and how to reflect on what worked well and what could be improved. The course helps build confidence, communication, creativity, problem-solving and real-world planning skills.


By the end, learners will have developed their own enterprise project and gained a better understanding of how businesses and enterprising people turn ideas into action.
