Lancashire Wildflowers Learning Hub
A nurturing, flexible learning community for home-educated children and young people aged 8–16 in Fulwood, Preston.
At Lancashire Wildflowers, we offer calm, creative and supportive day sessions for children who need a different approach to learning. Our days blend life skills, creativity, outdoor learning, projects, social time and emotional wellbeing support, helping children grow in confidence at their own pace.
We are especially suited to children and young people who may feel overwhelmed in busy environments, need a gentler approach, enjoy practical learning, or would benefit from a small, nurturing community where they can feel seen, heard and valued.

Ages
We welcome home-educated children between 8 and 16 years.

Times
We are open Monday-Friday 8.30am until 5.30pm, all year round (not just term-time).

Prices
Our full day sessions are £37 per day. We also have different half-day options and offers - see the section below for more details.
Not sure if your child would manage a full day? You are welcome to contact us first or arrange a visit so we can talk through what your child needs and whether Lancashire Wildflowers feels like the right fit.

-
Bookings can be made for days needed, you can book 2 days per week or 4 half days maximum. You will then receive an email confirming your bookings.
-
Days can change each week, you do not need to prebook specific days. If you do require this please speak to management.
-
A days fee is £37, half day is £20 and discount available when booking on siblings.
-
Bookings include all the normal daily activities; life skills, emotional wellbeing support/sessions, lessons (these can change and are decided by management), nature activities and more.
-
Some days out will be included in the cost of the days fee.
-
On occasion though, days out may be more expensive, Alton Towers for instance and will incur an extra cost.
-
The hub is open 8.30am-5.30pm, your child does not need to attend the full day, the drop off and pick up times are decided by parents but the cost will not change.
