Welcome our three gorgeous bunnies to Lancashire Wildflowers!
A cuddle with a calm, gentle animal can offer comfort, reassurance, and a sense of calm for many children, supporting emotional wellbeing in a natural and nurturing way.
So you are wondering why we bought three bunnies right? Not one or even two? No, three of them! My intention was to go out and buy one bunny for the hub (yes, I looked for a rescue first but I wanted to ensure the bunny would be tame for the children), my daughter and I found a gorgeous bunny from Manchester, it was a lionhead x mini lop. On the way to buy all the items we needed for this ONE bunny, I decided to google if it was a good idea to have a pair of bunnies instead. Bad idea, of course it said that they should be in pairs for the bunnies wellbeing! And being the type of person that clearly cares about a child's wellbeing, I obviously have to care for a bunny's wellbeing too! So off we go to meet these TWO brothers, yep, two I said! My daughter and I get to Manchester and low and behold there were three bunnies, all the same breed, two brothers and a cousin.... We tried for a while to choose two, upon attempting to leave my daughter starts sobbing (bloomin softie!). Clearly we can't leave one behind as it had been sharing a cage with its cousins. A hell of a lot of money later and a begging message to daddy (not that it mattered), we finally left with THREE bunnies.
So, please welcome Nibbles (Chocolate colour), Waffles (darker grey) and Bubbles (lighter grey, large head!!).
P.s. Bubbles has realised he can now walk straight through the cage bars. Who's idea was this?
